How Comfiq should feel.
Supportive without stiffness. Comfortable without being flimsy. Light enough to forget you are wearing them.
How it should feel
The Cloudstep should feel secure but not tight. The knit upper wraps your foot. No pressure points, no slipping at the heel, no pinching across the toes. You will be aware of the arch support, especially coming from flat footwear. Never uncomfortable.
The right fit feels like the footwear has disappeared. If you are noticing it constantly, something is off. Either the size or the fit needs adjusting.
Why not too soft matters
Ultra-soft footwear feels great for the first hour. After that, your feet start doing extra work to compensate for the instability. By the end of the day, you feel it. The Cloudstep uses balanced cushioning: soft enough to feel comfortable immediately, firm enough to stay supportive throughout.
Think of it like a good mattress. You want support, not just softness.
Built-in arch support
The Cloudstep sole has a raised arch zone that supports your foot from underneath. Not aggressively, but actually. Most flat footwear ignores this entirely, which is why your feet ache by mid-afternoon.
If you are coming from completely flat footwear, the arch support may feel noticeable at first. This is normal. It is the support working. Most people find it feels natural within a few wears.
Your first few wears
Most people are comfortable from the first wear. The knit settles to your foot over the first few wears and keeps getting better.
- Comfortable from day one. The knit settles and improves over the first few wears.
- If the arch feels noticeable at first, give it 2-3 days. It becomes natural quickly.
- If your heel is lifting, size down. If your toes feel compressed, size up.

Fit notes
A few things to expect from the Comfiq fit that differ from regular footwear.
- Snug fit by design. The knit wraps your foot, never encloses it.
- Secure heel with no slipping. If your heel is lifting, size down.
- Comfortable toe room. Your toes should sit naturally, not compressed.
- Between sizes? Always size up. Slightly loose is better than slightly tight.
- Wide feet may prefer sizing up one for extra room across the forefoot.
